MA show and Family outings in England

On September 16th 2008, I had a show in London for my MA in Fine Art. This was our graduation show and meant that we were now all done and real artists I guess. For this huge occasion my Mom, Grandma, Brother and Sister-in-law came all the way out from the Pacific Northwest of the US to hang out and see the show, see London and head out to Paris. This was a fun trip (besides the traveling...) and Emma and I were very happy to see you guys come out and sad to for you to see us off to Spain. (in a latter post) The show went well and have had many good comments and feedback from it. My thanks to all who were able to make it out and see the show!

OK so after seeing the show and getting settled in to our flat, the whole gang went out at the weekend to visit Emma's mum and step father. It was a lovely weekend full of laughs and great weather. We took a driving tour on Sat to some little English villages and Stonehenge while on the Sunday we were off to Winchester to visit Emma's sister and brother in law. What fun! Here's a bit of the weekend and highlights from our touring of London.

I won't ask you pose anymore Mom, promise.

Once again, thank you to Mom and crew for coming out. We love you and had such a great time. Emma's family feels the same and hope we can do it again sometime!

Here we go to Pairs!!

So after being worn out by the pace of London, we were joined by Emma's father David as we ventured by train through the channel tunnel to Paris for a long weekend. We stayed in a great apartment a couple of blocks behind Notre Dame. You couldn't have asked for a better location to stay at. We had such a relaxing time together and after about ten minutes we all were chilling and soaking up the French culture and beautiful surroundings of Paris. Here are some highlights.

Off to Spain for John and Daria's wedding

This was the portion of our trip to the south of Spain. Emma and I left the family at the flat in London for their last day while we headed out to sunny and warm Spain for a friends wedding. A big thanks to John and Daria to getting married in a premo spot! We stayed in a small village on a hill called Vejer de la Frontera. It was great, the food was great and all the people were... great. Yeah we had a great time. lol ok so here's the pics.
